“I Cipressi” Spumante Ortrugo 2017 DOC
“I Cipressi” Spumante Ortrugo 2017 DOC

The Spumante “I Cipressi” Ortrugo dei Colli Piacentini is produced from a native vine of the Province of Piacenza.

It is thought that the name derives from the dialect of Piacenza "altr'uga" that means “other grapes”.

The Spumante “I Cipressi” is characterized by a refined and delicate organoleptic balance. We produce it vinifying our 100% Ortrugo D.O.C. grapes on Ziano Piacentino hills. It is introduced with a light color, tending to greenish, slightly scented, with a dry taste.

It is a Spumante wine, Charmat method, through a long natural fermentation, for a period of 4 months in the autoclave, to obtain a fine and persistent perlage.

Ideal as an aperitif, it is excellent with hors d’oeuvres and it is particularly recommended with all kind of fish.

The grape is selected and harvested by hand.

In order to protect health we produce our grapes only with security methods L.R. 28/98 respecting the beneficial insects and the ecological system.
